"I wish I could say I had an amazing experience with this State Farm agency. I see many positive reviews, but I did not receive the same service others did. I am utterly disappointed and dissatisfied with the service I have received. I received a call from their office to set up my annual review for my life insurance policy. My point of contact for the appointment was Laura Guerrero. At first, she provided excellent service. She explained everything to me in great detail, asked if I needed anything, and even offered to explain the policy to my parents.
However, shortly thereafter, the problems began. She told me I needed to come in for a wet signature about 2-3 weeks after our initial appointment, as I had upgraded my life Insurance policy. I did let her know that I was only available on Saturdays. She let me know that she doesn’t work Saturdays unless it’s a confirmed appointment. I told her that I would be there for our appointment since I needed to go in for the signature. The next day, she told me it wasn’t necessary for me to come in. Only to have her call me right before Christmas and tell me once again that I needed to come in for the signature. I told her I wouldn’t be available until the new year and that I'd only be available on Saturday. She told me she would have to get back to me because there was a deadline. That was the last time I heard from Laura regarding my policy, up until yesterday. I had to reach out to her to see what was going on with my policy. I only heard from her after I called the office looking for her, and it still took her a day to call me back. It took her over a month to get back to me. During the phone call, it was excuse after excuse. She even lied to me, saying that she had told me she would reach out if the signature were needed. You told me right before Christmas that it was needed. I told you when I was available, and you said you’d get back to me. I didn’t even get a call back or a text to let me know to schedule an appointment. I understand that, after the holidays, you will be busy. However, there shouldn’t be a lack of communication. I should have heard from her within the first week of the new year, considering she called me right before Christmas. From the looks of it, it seemed like she wasn’t willing to come in on Saturdays. Despite the office saying it is open by appointment only. I will say that she apologized for the lack of communication. However, an apology does not fix the lack of communication and the unprofessionalism you demonstrated.

I couldn’t stay with an agency that lacks communication with its clients. I went ahead and switched to a different agent who has already done a better job of communication than Laura. They have taken the time to answer the questions that Laura failed to let me ask.

Do better!! Have better communication with your clients. It is highly unprofessional to tell a client you will get back to them and then proceed not to reach out. It should not take over a month to get back to your clients. Your clients shouldn’t have to chase you down to get information regarding their policy."

"BEWARE! My assigned agent, Manny, has caused multiple serious issues that have directly jeopardized my business:

He allowed my insurance payment to lapse because he failed to set up autopay, even though I specifically requested it.
Then this almost happened a second time thankfully I spoke with someone else in the office that was able to get me setup without any issue, I'm not sure what Manny's issue was, twice — completely unacceptable.

Here's the worst part...
Manny forgot to add a driver to my business policy. That driver was later involved in an at-fault accident, in my work truck. This mistake could have catastrophic consequences for my business, and the outcome is still unclear. I'm sure I'll be getting sued to the high heavens over this!

I requested his supervisor’s contact information after this catastrophe, multiple times so I could escalate these concerns. He ignored me twice, and I had to call in myself just to get the supervisor Rob's email address.

Out of frustration, I tried working with another agent, Julie, in hopes of getting something — anything — handled correctly. On September 26, I requested updated insurance documents and instructed her to adjust my liability limits to meet a contractor’s requirements. I had to follow up multiple times with that, and she told me she had forwarded everything to Manny only to find out that nothing had gotten done.

This office has shown a consistent pattern of negligence, poor communication, and zero accountability. I’m left constantly following up, cleaning up their mistakes, and worrying about what else has fallen through the cracks. Frankly, I’ve lost all confidence in their ability to manage my account.

I wanted my policy transferred immediately to a different office with staff who are competent, responsive, and take their clients seriously with the supervisor, was told he would call me and he never did! Surprised huh??

This situation has gone far beyond frustration — it’s unacceptable, unprofessional, and has been dangerous to my business. DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE, THEY ARE HORRIBLE!"
